Mr. Fence of Florida is a locally owned and operated company located in Panama City, Florida.
It is owned and operated by Joshua Glover who has been involved in the fencing industry since he was 8 years old. Joshua's father and stepfather have both been in the fencing industry for over 30 years so Josh naturally learned extensively from them through osmosis and hands on training. In addition to his experience gained through his family, Josh is also an active member of the American Fence Association and the Fence Workers Association.
He has served on several committees and has chaired the "Operations Manager Committee" which put together the OMS School and OMS Certification through ACI. Josh travels the country working with other fence contractors to help them improve their business and the industry.
Joshua holds American Fence Association, ACI and IDEA certifications in fence contracting, installation, operations management and automated gate design and installation. He has served as an AFA Director, as Treasurer and Director of Education for the Florida Chapter of the AFA, and as an instructor for the Fence Installation School. See all credentials.
After working for more than 10 years in the underground coal mines of western Kentucky, Joshua and his wife Lauren moved to Panama City with their 4 children in 2018. Shortly after, Mr. Fence of Florida was born. The company was started and built around the idea that they were building a customer service company, that also installs fences.
For the first year, they ran the office out of their kitchen and dining room as they poured their hearts and souls in to building what they believed would be a fence company second to none.
Quality control and customer satisfaction are at the very core of the organization and extend outward. Mr. Fence uses no Sub-Contractors, all of the Team Members are full time hourly or salary individuals that go through continuing extensive training in order to stay on the cutting edge of installation techniques and provide the highest value possible to their customers.

As President of Mr. Fence of Florida and Mr. Gate I am blessed to lead such a talented team of individuals. Each of them bring different strengths to our team and have one united primary focus -- Customer Satisfaction. At the core of our organization, we define ourselves as a customer service company that also installs fences and gates. This permeates through the entire company as one of our core values.
After working in the underground coal mines of Western Kentucky for 10 years, I entered the fence industry following in the footsteps of my father and step-father who both worked in the Industry for over 30 years. As an active member and volunteer in multiple trade organizations, I am currently the only person in the country that holds every certification available for fence and automated gate installation.
As a husband and father of 5 I enjoy relaxing with my family, fishing in the Gulf, land management and private aviation.

My name is Chris Sparks and my role at Mr. Fence of Florida is General Manager. I have been with the company from the very beginning in 2019, helping to grow the company to where it is today. I have been in the Fence industry since 2009, I started as an installer and worked my way up from there.
I absolutely love seeing a lot of the finished products our team here at Mr. Fence has completed. I grew up in a town in the Midwest where there was a lot of farmland and fields. Evansville is my hometown, and you could find me at a local dirt track in the stands or on the track itself.
I have been married to my wife for 10 years and enjoy the time I get to spend with her and our pups at home. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, especially when they have time to make a visit to Florida. I like to break away from the real world when I can and knock some golf balls around on the course or enjoy the views of the Gulf from my boat.

3 years into my journey with Mr. Fence of Florida my title and job responsibilities have changed a handful of times, but I have made sure that each task that has been thrown my way or that has landed into my hands has been completed and knocked out of the park.
I currently run all our Social Media platforms; and I help when needed with all other office responsibilities. I make sure that we have updated photos of every job, team member, and anything else we have going on around here.
When I am not updating statuses, responding to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter messages, making our team members be TikTok creators, or pinning away on our Pinterest page, I enjoy being the best dog mom and trying my best to keep my plants alive. I have been married to my husband for 10 years and together for 18 and he hasn't been poisoned yet so that's good.
The best part about being in the position that I am in is interacting with and getting to know each one of our Team members here at Mr. Fence of Florida.

After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Marketing Management, I lived and worked all around the US in various business roles. I returned to Florida and recently relocated to this area, joining Mr. Fence as a Sales Consultant. In my spare time I enjoy tinkering in my garage and around my property, exploring new destinations locally and beyond and anything outdoors and water related.

Ben McGonagil, a lifelong resident of Panama City, FL, and alumnus of the University of North Carolina-Asheville, joins us from the wild world of being a catastrophe insurance adjuster or "Storm Chaser". Ben brings over 10 years of construction experience in various specialties. Ben was interested in staying home with his wife Trish and two kids, Hannah and Tanner, and when he isn't working he can usually be found at a ballfield, court, or gym watching his children's games and giving the umpires and referees respectful instructions on how to do their jobs.
When not working or at the ballpark one could attempt to find Ben "anywhere his cellphone is out of service." We welcome Ben to the team, and at 6'11 and vaguely resembling "Mr. Clean", you can't miss him around town so say hello and ask him about your fencing needs.

Being born into a military family, I am fortunate to have lived around the world. After living in Nevada, Japan, and England, we arrived in Panama City just before my 9th birthday. For the last 26 years, I have had no desire to call anywhere else my home. My wife and I, who will be celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary May 2024, along with our 4 amazing daughters are fortunate and grateful to have built and continuously grow our family here in PC. The family, friends, and community we have been gifted with here in Panama City have been invaluable for my family throughout the years.

Our Florida Chapter Community Service Project
The team at Mr. Fence of Florida and organized by Taylor Sparks (Vice President of the Florida Chapter Board of the American Fence Association) had the pleasure of planning and organizing a free fence for Veteran Christopher "Dalton" Mask and his family. Starting at 8 am in the morning and finishing up by 3:30 the same day, the Mr.
Fence of Florida team, even along with some of their families, installed 37 sections of wood fence, 60 feet of chain link fence, and 3 gates to complete this project in our community. We are proud to be a part of projects like this that enrich the lives of individuals right in our own backyard.
