Fence Staining & Sealing in Panama City
Bring your wood fence back to life and protect it from Florida sun and moisture with a professional stain and seal.
Mr. Fence of Florida now stains and seals wood fences around Panama City. We use the EXPERT Professional Wood Care system: clean, brighten, then stain with EXPERT Stain & Seal, a penetrating oil stain made for fences, decks and other exterior wood.
Why stain your wood fence?
Unprotected wood weathers fast in Bay County sun, heat and humidity. EXPERT says Stain & Seal penetrates deep into wood fibers to help prevent cracking, warping and premature aging, and protects against weathering, UV exposure and moisture. It also gives a graying fence an even, fresh color.

Fence Staining FAQs
Do you stain existing fences or only new ones?
Both are possible with EXPERT products. The manufacturer says Stain & Seal is made for new wood and restoration projects. Older or weathered fences get cleaned (and stripped if needed) and brightened first.
What stain do you use?
EXPERT Stain & Seal, a penetrating oil-based wood stain from EXPERT Professional Wood Care. It soaks into the wood instead of sitting on top, so it is designed to resist peeling and can be reapplied without scraping, stripping or sanding.
What colors can I choose?
EXPERT Stain & Seal comes in 19 colors across three finishes: transparent, semi-transparent and semi-solid. We bring samples to your estimate so you can see the color on your own wood, because final color varies with wood species, age and condition.
Which finish is right for my fence?
Transparent shows the most wood grain. Semi-transparent adds more color with grain still visible. Semi-solid gives the deepest color and coverage, which the manufacturer recommends for older wood or boards with uneven color.
Why do you clean and brighten before staining?
EXPERT's system starts with a cleaner or stripper, then a wood brightener to neutralize the surface. The manufacturer says skipping the brightener can cause an uneven look and weaker stain performance.
Is the stain low-VOC?
Yes. EXPERT Stain & Seal is an ultra-low VOC formula and is GREENWISE® certified by Coatings Research Group, Inc., per the manufacturer.
